Welcome To The Park

The Centre occupies a 15 acre site on the main bus route through Knowle. It opened in 2000 as a hub of community activity including learning, business, support services and leisure.

Local people are at the heart of everything iqoption.com that goes on. The buildings are set in a pleasant environment and offer good facilities to accommodate a wide range of ages and interests.

The Park tries to offer something for everyone and everyone who uses the site is seen as equally important.

The Centre is open 7 days a week.
Monday to Friday 8am – 10pm. Weekends 9am – 1pm. Extended opening times can be arranged.

Auditions for new collective being held at The Park 

Can you sing? If so Inspire is looking to put together a new collective for singers aged between 17-25.

Want to be trained and developed at a state of the art music complex, are talented and want an outlet to perform, are willing to work hard and be trained not only in your artform but how to communicate to young people about current social issues....then this could be exactly what you are looking for!!

Auditions are being held at The Park on Tuesday 29th May between 3pm and 6pm. To book a slot please contact Davina on 07919 978928. 

 

Animal Care After School Club and Saturday Club

Are you aged between 7 and 11 years and want to learn how to handle, feed and care for a range of small mammals, snakes, lizards and bugs then come along to our Animal Centre.

We are running a 6 week course starting on Saturday 14th April 10.30am - 12.00pm and Thursday 19th April from 3.30pm - 4.30pm.  The cost is only £1.50 per person, per session.

New courses for 16-18 year olds beginning in September 2012 at The Park

The Park will be running a number of new educational courses for 16-18 year olds from September 2012. The courses will be to prepare you for progression to employment, further education or apprenticeships.

The course are available in Construction, Childcare, Catering and Urban Performing Arts. An open day is being held on Tuesday 26th June between 12 and 3pm.

SPINNING - Now at The Park 

Spinning is a brand new concept in indoor cycling, you can improve your health, fitness and well being and have fun at the same time.

Classes run every weekday evening and weekend morning. You will find the timetable by clicking on the Sports page on the left hand side of this page.

Central YMCA Qualifications (CYQ) courses beginning soon. These courses are FREE to 16-18 year olds

CYQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym based) - Next course beginning on Wednesday 25th April 2012 - Places can be booked now for only £350

CYQ Level 2 Award in Circuit Training - Next course beginning in April 2012 - Places can be booked now for only £100 (£75 if you study alongside the Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification)

Knowle West Fest Community Day

As part of the Big Lunch and Bristol's Big Green week, The Park is hosting Knowle West Fest Community day on Saturday 9th June 2012. The event starts at 10am running to 3pm and features some of the following;

Football tournament, Cookery classes and demos, Plant growing, Story telling, Spinning demo and taster session, Face Painting, a Big Lunch and much more.
